A Bit About Me
I grew up in California and obtained my undergraduate degree and Masters degree from California State University Northridge.
My first interaction with the special education system was with a younger sibling. I watched as my parents struggled to get my sibling’s needs met in the public school system. During my sibling's school years I became adept at researching, advocating and finding solutions to help navigate school in a way that offered a road to success. This became my passion and would eventually come full circle for me with my own child when they were diagnosed with autism.
I discovered a need in this community for resources/advocacy and assistance in the special education system.
I decided to step in and try to help fill a void in an area that is so greatly needed.
